Not surprising, seeing as it was designed by a trained sculptor and made by hand. The rounded cylindrical drum has a rubber base for easy traction, and the utilitarian serrated brass arm ensures a clean break in the tape every time. Although it was manufactured in the English countryside, it still fits standard Scotch tape, and includes a 5 year warranty.
