Designed by Danes and woven by hand in India. The weaving technique used to make this Kelim rug is the ’Punja’ loom, which is a traditional manual loom and one of the oldest weaving techniques. We've found it preferable to have a textile underfoot when we work, for those not so occassional moments we choose to slip off our shoes. Moreover, we've found rugs to be an excellent way to demarcate a workspace, particularly when sharing the space with a living or bedroom - it provides clear lines to see where one world starts and the next begins. This one has a versatile graphic pattern that is subtle enough to fit in with just about any décor, and provides the perfect touch of visual flair without being a distraction. Material: 80% wool, 20% cotton. Care instructions: Dry clean only.
